Mark Halperin Suspended by MSNBC for Obama D-ck Reference

Mark Halperin must be watching too much Tracy Morgan stand-up.

During a live appearance on MSNBC's Morning Joe today, the political analyst was asked about President Obama's behavior yesterday during a meeting with Republicans, inquired about whether or not the show was on a seven-second delay and then said:

The President "acted like a dick." Watch the host's stunned reaction to the insult now:

Mark Halperin on Morning Joe

Halperin, who co-authored the book "Game Change," has been suspended indefinitely by the network and said in a statement:

"I want to offer a heartfelt and profound apology to the president, to my MSNBC colleagues, and to the viewers. My remark was unacceptable, and I deeply regret it."

Should he have been punished?

'Twilight,' Justin Bieber Rule MTV Movie Awards

Sneak peeks from 'Breaking Dawn' and 'Deathly Hallows' make a splash at the big show.
By Gil Kaufman

Hollywood may have just found the ultimate killer mega-sequel on Sunday night (June 5) when "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" ran the table at the MTV Movie Awards, taking home five big ones, including Best Movie and Best Female and Male performance wins for stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Not too shabby for a bunch of undead vampires, buff werewolves and the lady who loves them.

In the process, the kids from rainy Forks, Washington, nearly blanked the also multiply-nominated cast of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1," surely giving someone in Hollywood a great idea to stage the ultimate fan-freakout-fantasy-world showdown once the two series wrap up.

In the meantime, fans made do with lots of Pattinson and Stewart on Sunday night, along with generous helpings of Taylor Lautner and more Arnold Schwarzenegger illegitimate-kid jokes than anyone imagined from host Jason Sudeikis.

With a set that looked like a backlot fantasia, with a ring of fake grass, crystal towers, caves, butterflies, LED lights and glittery, hanging jewels, the stage at the Gibson Amphitheatre was a nod to the "Lord of the Rings" and the fantasy world of movies.

And with their hands all over each other, "Friends with Benefits" co-stars Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake proudly handed out the night's first award, Best Male Performance, to "Twilight" star Pattinson, who beat out love-triangle rival Lautner for the honor. "I really didn't think I was going to win," said the perpetually self-effacing undead star, who got a smile but no congratulatory, well, anything, from co-star Stewart. "This is kind of embarrassing now. Zac Efron was crying and stuff in that clip. ... Thanks for showing all your support to the movies. See you next year!"

Check out photos of Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and other "Twilight" stars at this year's big show!

Was there any doubt whether Tom Felton would take home the Best Villain award for his truly terrifying performance of blond baddie Draco Malfoy in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1"? Flashing an uncharacteristic smile, the nice English lad said, "This will look very nice in my downstairs toilet," thanking fans for a decade of support and promising that the final installment will be worth the wait.

Poo Cocktail Supreme, a sawed-off arm, the world literally exploding all around you and the cuticle from hell: All worthy nominees, but it was Justin Bieber's "Never Say Never" 3-D concert film that took the Best Jaw Dropping Moment prize. Though it looked like the Biebs wouldn't be on hand to take home the honor, he made a surprise appearance and thanked his director, manager and family. "But most of all I want to thank my fans. I love you," said Bieber, sporting white jeans and a blue blazer over a black T-shirt.

It wasn't all just movie magic, though. Funnyman Jim Carrey promised to bring some high-tech shenanigans to the proceedings, and he didn't disappoint. The "Mr. Popper's Penguins" star showed up in a green-screen suit that featured a number of high-tech images, but mostly just dogs humping. He was on hand to introduce the Foo Fighters, who lit the stage up with a blistering performance of their new single "Walk," with a set that included six strobing movie-set klieg lights.

Alas, Potter's Death Eaters had nothing on Bryce Dallas Howard and Xavier Samuel's showdown with Pattinson in "Eclipse," which also won for Best Fight. Pattinson bragged about winning the filmed fight, even as Howard apologized for trying to hurt him. "It's fine. I ripped your head off ... and now you're pregnant!" he said awkwardly, as Stewart cradled her face in her hands in embarrassment at his crack about their co-star's bulging baby belly.

You kind of couldn't go wrong with the Best Kiss category, especially if you're on Team Edward. But really? Mila Kunis and Natalie Portman didn't snag the traditionally Sapphic-friendly smooch trophy? Nope, not when RPattz and KStew are in the mix. Taking the stage for the third time, Pattinson sheepishly said he felt bad because he, well, didn't really feel like re-creating his smooch with Stewart from "Eclipse."

"You don't want to kiss me, do you?" he said to Stewart. "Well, I mean, it's been a long time, and ... I think we should finally go for it," she replied nervously, as the camera cut to a totally psyched Selena Gomez. "There's someone else in the audience I think will appreciate it a little more," Pattinson answered, before sprinting out to the crowd and laying a big, wet one on Lautner's mouth, forehead and hand. When he tried to snag the award from Stewart's hands, she grabbed it away and he grunted, "I wanna take you backstage!" in what amounts to PDA for these two.

Luckily for the nominees in the Best Line from a Movie category, there were no quotable muggles or vampires in the mix, so you can be sure 7-year-old "Grown Ups" star Alexys Nycole Sanchez was going to celebrate her win later that night by getting totally "chocolate wasted."

This is so cool!" squeaked the adorable moppet before reprising her money line.

The ladies in the Best Female Performance race were not so lucky, as Stewart beat out the Emmas (Stone and Watson), Jennifer Aniston and "Black Swan" star Portman. The publicity-shy actress, wearing a red leather minidress festooned with safety pins, said, "Oh, man, this is silly. It feels very incredible to be so completely supported by everybody that voted for me, it actually really, truly does. Thank you. We have obviously the greatest fans ever."

The luminous Reese Witherspoon was presented with this year's MTV Generation Award, preceded by her "Water for Elephants" co-star Pattinson, giving a touching, and quite salty, tribute to the actress, who's been his movie mother and lover.

"I'm just so lucky in my career and my life," said Witherspoon, who kindly corrected the punch line to one of Pattinson's most off-color jokes, while praising her chemistry with "Sweet Home Alabama" co-star Patrick Dempsey. "I just want to say to all the girls out there: I know it's cool to be bad, I get it ... but it's also possible to make it in Hollywood without a reality show ... so for all the girls out there, it's possible to be a good girl."

Halle Berry Accuses Gabriel Aubry of Child Neglect

Halle Berry Accuses Gabriel Aubry of Child Neglect

Halle Berry and ex Gabriel Aubry continue to bring out the big guns in their custody battle over their 3-year-old daughter, Nahla. Berry appeared in family court on Tuesday, where she accused the model of neglecting their daughter overseas and putting her in harm's way while she was in his care.

In addition, the actress' lawyer provided a lengthy court document detailing Gabriel's parenting skills. She asked the judge to rule that Aubry violated the custody agreement in place. Because Aubry was not present in court, a hearing has been set for a later date.

This is just the latest chapter in the battle for the little girl. Aubrey, 35, first filed for joint custody of his daughter in January. In February, Berry's rep said that the actress, 44, had "serious concerns for her daughter's well-being while in the care of her father for any extended period of time and is prepared to take all necessary steps to protect her." The showdown resulted in some nasty back-and-forth between the two, but the tension seemed to have cooled by by April, when Berry said things were all good between her and her ex.

"I'm so happy we've arrived at that place -- because for her sake, this is the best way," she said at the time. "We both love her more than life."

We're not sure what went wrong since then -- or if Halle's sizzling new relationship with Olivier Martinez has anything to do with the bad blood between the parents -- but we hope they find a way to work it out amicably for Nahla's sake.

Heidi Klum Says Seal Is "Even Hot When He's Sleeping"

Heidi Klum Says Seal Is "Even Hot When He's Sleeping"

After six years of marriage, Heidi Klum still finds her husband super sexy. (So do we, Heidi!)

The Project Runway host says her relationship with singer Seal is still filled with fun romantic nights and alluring lingerie, which keeps things very hot in the bedroom.

"There's nothing wrong with a nice garter belt," the model, 38, says in the new issue of Glamour. "I'm not saying you have to put up a pole in your bedroom and start swinging off the rafters. But I love that sometimes! My husband and I just had a 'sexy week' in London. I'd put on a super-short skirt with a garter belt on underneath so that when I'd sit, he could see it. It's fun to sauce it up a little bit."

Is getting warm in here?

Klum says that it's pretty easy to keep their love life in tact, especially because she's still so attracted to the 48-year-old "Secrets" singer. "He's even hot when he's sleeping. He's a beautiful man," Klum gushes. "He's kind, he's a gentleman, and I watched him last night onstage, and he still rocks it. I'm like, 'Yeah, that's my man!'"

But Klum says the couple, who have four children together, have never really had a problem with sparks. From the moment they crossed paths, Klum admits she had to have him.

"We were sitting in the lobby at the Mercer Hotel [in New York], and he came in from the gym. I was very attracted to him immediately," she says. "And I said, 'Where you going? You should just stay here with us.' He said, 'I'm sweating -- I have to go take a shower.' And I'm like, 'Good, take a shower and come back.' And he did."

Klum wasn't shy about her feelings for Seal, and the two have been inseparable ever since. They even renew their wedding vows every year on their anniversary.

"I'm not someone who plays hard to get," she explains. "This whole thing about 'Oh, let's exchange numbers' and then people wait four or five days before they call you? I don't see the point. If you feel something, why would you let that pass? You only live once."

Chuckie Will Debut Michael Jackson Remix In Miami

Official 'Hollywood Tonight' remix coming to Miami Music Week.
By Akshay Bhansali

Leaving the South by Southwest festival, Lavo New York and Las Vegas' Marquee in his wake, house DJ Chuckie has his sights set on the week ahead. With Miami Music Week now upon us, Chuckie plans to seize the opportunity to debut new material. Fans will be tickled to know the Dutch producer has tracks in the can with Kelly Rowland and T-Pain, but when MTV News caught up with him Friday in New York, Chuckie shared the achievement of which he's most proud.

"I did a Michael Jackson remix, which was really scary — to touch Michael Jackson vocals," Chuckie said. "I did this remix for this track 'Hollywood Tonight.' I couldn't say it for a minute: The label called me, and they said, 'You can't say nothing about this. It's kind of a secret project.' It's gonna come out anytime now."

"Hollywood Tonight" was originally produced by Teddy Riley for Jackson's posthumous Michael album, and Chuckie's mix of the song will be the sole official remix of the track.

"I will play it Miami," Chuckie revealed. "I told them this is the best week to launch the remix. So it feels really good. I'm the only one remixing that Michael Jackson track, and they are considering it a single. For me, especially, it's an honor to remix the King of Pop because he died on my birthday."

So, will the mix be a thundering Chuckie Dutch house banger or will it have a melodic progressive house feel, like his Marquee remix of Diddy-Dirty Money's "I Hate That You Love Me"? Well, according to the "Let the Bass Kick" producer, fans will be getting a healthy dose of both.

"I had to bring in the raucous," Chuckie confessed. "Yeah, I did the Chuckie flavor, but then again, I wanted to make it really musical, so I went progressive (house) on it."

Chuckie will be performing twice at Miami Music Week: at the Cr2 Records Party at Wall Lounge on Wednesday, and then headlining "No Sugar Added" at Nikki Beach on Friday.

Are you excited to hear Chuckie's remix of Michael Jackson's "Hollywood Tonight"? Let us know in the comments below!

Lady Gaga, Pink, More React To New York Gay Marriage Bill

'Rejoice New York,' Lady Gaga tweeted. 'We did it!'

The Twitterverse was ablaze with every color of the rainbow Friday night as New York state became the sixth and most populous in the U.S. to allow gay marriage.

With the bill, which passed 33 to 29 in the State Senate in Albany, the Empire State joins Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Iowa and Washington D.C. in recognizing gay marriage in the United States.

The timing was fortuitous as New Yorkers observe Pride Week, a celebration of the diversity of the LGBT community.

Lady Gaga, whose LGBT advocacy has manifest well beyond her songwriting at speeches, rallies and appearances from San Francisco Pride in 2009 to the National Equality March in 2010, and the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, wasted no time making her pride known.

"Rejoice New York, and propose. We did it!" she Tweeted. "The revolution is ours to fight for love, justice + equality."

"CONGRATULATIONS!" Punk-pop provocateur Pink shouted. "ABOUT TIME!"

Outspoken, plainclothes talk show hostess Ellen DeGeneres was thrilled about the news. "Every day we get a little closer," she Tweeted. "What an amazing feeling."

"Progress!" Neil Patrick Harris said. "A historic night!"

"Tonight we're all New Yorkers!" comedienne Kathy Griffin Tweeted. "Straight and gay alike, let's all celebrate marriage #equality."

MTV's own "My Life As Liz" star, Liz Lee -- a recent Manhattan transplant -- weighed in, saying simply "Proud to be a resident of NYC!"

"The rights u take for granted are only valid if u fight to give those same rights to others," Tweeted Russell Simmons

"Happy that New York passed marriage equality tonight. A victory for human rights. Progress." wrote John Legend.

"New York believes in EQUALITY!! Hopefully California and the rest of the U.S. will follow! Wish I was in NYC right now!" said Perez Hilton.

"As if I didn't already have enough to celebrate and enjoy today. A big hug for New York from my lone hotel room in London," "Glee" star Darren Criss tweeted. "I sing it every night, but now it has better meaning: 'New York- concrete jungle where dreams are made of, there's nothing you can't do.'"

"Proud to be from New York!! Such a beautiful thing!! So thankful and happy!!" chimed in Criss' co-star, Lea Michele. #Equalityforall Love and equality prevailed in New York!!"

"Proud to be FROM NY!" Lindsay Lohan wrote.

"NEW YORK! I [love] U! You're OFFICIALLY the coolest place on the planet!" Katy Perry enthusiastically Tweeted.

"Hell yeah NY! I have gotten several requests from friends... for a wedding singer!!!" LeAnn Rimes wrote.

"NYC legalizes gay marriage!!!" Kim Kardashian exclaimed via Twitter. "NOH8 New York!!!"

Others couldn't wait to propose, taking to social media to state their love.

"Wanna get married, @bravoandy?" 'NSYNC's Lance Bass asked Bravo's Andy Cohen.

Neil Patrick Harris later took to Twitter to announce that he and partner David Burtka are engaged, even though it happened a while ago.

"David and I did propose to each other, but over five years ago!" he wrote. "We've been wearing engagement rings for ages, waiting for an available date.

And then a few other celebs jumped on the proposal bandwagon, albeit in a less official way. "Alec! Now we can get married!" -Steve Martin tweeted at his buddy Alec Baldwin. "Ok. But if you play that effing banjo after eleven o'clock...." Alec Baldwin responded.

"It is now legal to do a gay marriage in NYC @AlecBaldwin, carpe diem." --Russell Brand

America's Got Talent Results: The Many Faces of New York City

The second set of auditions in New York City ramped up the weird on America's Got Talent, starting with zombies chasing girls. There were some true oddities that actually had some potential to be a real Vegas act, however.

Let's run it down...

Sharon Osbourne as a Judge

Enjoyable
The Smag Bros. - Bill and Pat started off with some talented wheelie work and it was really synchronized. The fact that they could do such a great job on a small and slippery floor was amazing. Anything attempting to crush a friend was worth watching.

Shemika Charles - In the preview she said that she was the world record holder, but we never got her story on the show. It's really pretty disappointing when you're the focus on the commercials, but given a five-second preview.

Leonid the Magnificent - The act was really crazy, but the quick change segments were actually really fast. There was something captivating about the changing; the horrible singing was comedic. He is probably the best definition of variety act.

Narcissister - When I saw the mask, I knew the performance would be really strange. Then ,a head popped out of her va-jay-jay. I thought the execution was a bit off at points but the use of "Upside Down" was a great choice.

Sam B. - The freestyle dancer and unsuccessful ladies’ man managed to get some height with his jumping. His knee drop must have been painful but he was going so passionately that even I wanted to join him. Take a look at the floor as he danced; it occasionally buckle with his weight. His final move was just an untalented Volleyball tumble. Extra credit goes to Piers who understood the amazingly awful reason for why we would watch him.

Bearable
Sally Gould Dancers - Stereotypical girls with interesting costumes. They dared to do the Vogue-inspired Duck Walk, which was the only thing that I thought had inspiration and originality.

Ed Cole - I'm not sure exactly what the act would actually be, but the old man was buff and kind of funny about the whole thing.

Rachel Zamstein - Rachel had a quadruple sob story: Divorce! Bullying! Drugs! Alcohol! Then, her finding music was that coming to Jesus moment. I'm sure if Joss Stone was her best choice because of how wordy the song was. All that Rachel was showing was her lack of breath control. She deserves a shot, but she needed to push harder.

$andy Kane (Naked Cowgirl) - She loved Nick, who was "Sweeter than Ice Cream on a stick." $andy looked like what Katy Perry would look like in 20 years.

Unbearable
Rak and Tak - Rak and Tak was a bit of an Indian pastiche, but they had something funny about them. The thing that made it worse was the fact that they were off tempo. I loved how the judges never buzzed the couple and let them suffer together. When the two tried to sing together, I'm pretty sure the dogs in my neighborhood were howling in response.

Tomorrow: Asian Susan Boyle. Keep the DVR ready for that.

Michael Jackson's Legacy, Two Years Later, By the Numbers

Legendary singer's impact continues to blossom in the two years since his death; MTV News breaks down the figures.
By Gil Kaufman

Michael Jackson

Like Elvis, Bob Marley, Notorious B.I.G. and Frank Sinatra before him, Michael Jackson's influence has continued, and grown, since his untimely death on June 25, 2009.

On the second anniversary of the King of Pop's passing, MTV News took a look at the enduring appeal of MJ's music, videos and imagery, which continue to fascinate and attract fans across the globe thanks to a series of posthumous albums, a movie, video games and two upcoming Cirque du Soleil live shows.

Where Were You Two Years Ago When You Heard the News? Tell Us on Facebook

$72 million: According to Box Office Mojo, Jackson's posthumous concert film, "This Is It," has grossed more than $72 million to date domestically and $189 million in foreign markets for a worldwide take over more than $261 million. It ranks as the #2 music documentary of all-time behind Justin Bieber's "Never Say Never." The film has also generated nearly $45 million in DVD sales in the U.S.

16: In May, Jackson lodged his first #1 on the Billboard magazine Dance/ Club Play Songs chart in 16 years with the latest single from his posthumous Michael album, "Hollywood Tonight."

2: Number of posthumous albums that have been released since Michael's death in June 2009. Last year's Michael has sold just over 510,000 copies to date, while the This Is It collection has moved nearly 1 million copies to date in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan.

15,000: The number of videos submitted by fans since March for the crowdsourced video for "Behind the Mask." After they were edited down by a five-person team over two months, the resulting clip used submissions from more than 1,600 participants from 103 countries.

3 million: The amount of copies sold of the Ubisoft "Michael Jackson: The Experience" video game worldwide.

$57 million: The reported cost of Cirque du Soleil's traveling MJ show, "The Immortal World Tour, which is slated to kick off on October 2.

$1 billion: That gaudy figure is the reported amount the Jackson estate had generated by last June on the first anniversary of the singer's death. According to Billboard, the revenue was generated by a combination of music sales ($429 million), film/TV revenue ($392 million), music publishing ($130 million), licensing ($35 million) and a $31 million recording contract. (A spokesperson for Jackson's estate declined to provide updated figures for this story.)

$310 million: The amount of gross earnings reported by the executors of the estate in a December 2010 court filing detailing the progress made in paying off the $400 million in debt run up by the spendthrift singer during his lifetime.

16.1 million: MJ was always a big singles artist. Yes, Thriller is one of the best-selling albums of all time, but even in death, fans can't resist cherry-picking some of Michael's best songs. That explains why he's sold more than 16 million digital tracks since June 28, 2009, the first sales week following his passing, according to Nielsen SoundScan. To put that in perspective, from the time Nielsen began counting digital tracks in 2004 until the week before Jackson's death, the singer had sold just over 8.1 million digital tracks, a figure that has doubled in just the past two years.

2013: The projected launch for a second, non-touring Cirque show celebrating Jackson. The yet-untitled show is slated to open in the spring of 2013 at a new theater being built at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.

$25 million to $50 million: That's how much Jackson's estate takes in on an annual basis thanks to his stake in the half-million-song Sony/ATV catalog, which includes titles by Elvis, Lady Gaga, Eminem, Beyoncé and Bob Dylan.

Since then she has become a household name and icon for women. And I am pretty sure she has set the most famous hair trend of all time. Everyone wanted the ?Rachel cut.? She is a style icon and a strong example of a woman. We have seen her hold her grace through an embarrassing affair and divorce, and she still to this day, has nothing negative to say.

Charlie Sheen Inks New TV Sitcom Deal!

Well who didn?t see this coming, Charlie Sheen has inked a new TV sitcom deal. The company who has decided it is worth betting on Charlie is Lionsgate Television. RadarOnline is reporting that Charlie will be back on television soon thanks to a deal with Lionsgate. The website is further reporting that there is a bidding war for Sheen?s new show among networks, with TBS so far winning the war so to speak. There isn?t a whole lot of other details out there yet other than Lionsgate has committed to doing ten episode but if all goes well there could be up to 90 episodes which equals out to about eight more years of Charlie on TV. So what is the ?winning? actor going to get paid? Well no specific dollar amounts have been released but it will be less than what he was making on Two and a Half Men, at first anyway. If the show is the success that those involved are banking on it being then he could make a ton of money on the back end, which is basically saying the production company is willing to take a risk but at the same time they want [...]

Oprah Receives Honorary Doctorate in South Africa

Oprah Receives Honorary Doctorate in South Africa

Just call her Dr. Winfrey! Oprah Winfrey was on hand to receive an honorary doctorate degree from the University of the Free State in South Africa on Friday.

The daytime TV icon spoke to the students of the school where, five years ago, four white students made a video humiliating black housekeeping staff. In the clip, the housekeepers were shown eating a stew the students had mimed spiking with urine.

When Winfrey took the stage to receive her degree, she called the five cleaners up to join her and pronounced them heroes.

"What has happened here at Free State in terms of racial reconciliation, of peace, of harmony, of one heart understanding and opening itself to another heart is nothing short of a miracle," she said. "It is truly what the new South Africa is all about."

Winfrey shed tears as she accepted her degree in front of a roaring crowd of hundreds. The citation accompanying her honor (which was the 152nd honorary degree given out by the university) said Winfrey "has truly become a South African. She did so because she believed that there was important work to be done here, and she wanted to be part of what Nelson Mandela and others had begun."

Previous recipients of Free State honorary degrees include Mandela and Archbishop Desmond Tutu.

Glee?s Cory Monteith Talks Drug and Alcohol Past

Finn Hudson has pretty much lived on the straight and narrow, and personally I enjoy the naivete that is Finn. It was quite the opposite for Cory Monteith, the 29-year-old (wow, I didn’t realize he was 29!) Glee star who portrays the high school quarterback, who had some troubling teenage years that involved drugs and alcohol. We’ve got the deets here! In a very revealing interview with Parade Magazine that comes out this weekend in your paper, Monteith exclusively spoke to the mag about how at the young age of 13, he was already getting drunk, smoking pot and ditching school. Monteith, who hails from British Columbia, admitted that by the time he was 16 years old he said, “I was out of control.” His drug use, which started out with pot, quickly moved on to ‘anything and everything’. He had his first rehab stint at the age of 19, after an intervention was orchestrated by his family. Unfortunately, it wasn’t long before he start using again. What made him finally stop abusing substances? He had stolen a large sum of moolah from a member of his family, got caught and was told he had to get clean or they [...]

"Transformers 3" Takes Over Berlin

Making the second stop on their world promotional tour, the stars of "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" were gathered together in Berlin, Germany over the weekend (June 25).

Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington Whiteley, Patrick Dempsey, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson and director Michael Bay kicked off the day with a press conference held at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel before swapping outfits to walk the red carpet for the much-awaited movie's German premiere later the same evening.

With Miss Huntington-Whiteley being the newcomer after replacing ousted actress Megan Fox, the 24-year-old model-turned-actress recently spoke with MTV News about how she thought that she would be passed up for the role after "bombing" her audition.

Rosie told, "I went to the audition and really I knew nothing about the role. No one had said anything; it was just a role in 'Transformers,' so I kind of thought it would be an extra part or a cameo or something. I went in a bit blind and also, it was my first-ever audition. I went in completely not knowing what I was doing. I left feeling not confident."

Nonetheless, the brunette beauty received a personal call from director Bay a few days later, as she reminisced, "He was like, 'Yeah, you're the girl.'"

"Transformers: Dark of the Moon" is set to hit theaters on Tuesday, June 29th.

Lady Gaga's 'Edge Of Glory' Video: What Can We Expect?

MTV News rounds up clues about the video, which premieres Thursday on 'So You Think You Can Dance.'

On Thursday night (June 16), on "So You Think You Can Dance," Lady Gaga is set to premiere her Haus of Gaga-directed video for "The Edge of Glory." What will it look like? How will she top herself? Little is known about what to expect, but with Gaga, anything is possible.

As producer Fernando Garibay told MTV News, the song was inspired by the death of Gaga's grandfather and was written while on the road. It features one of Gaga's childhood icons, E Street Band sax player Clarence Clemons, who suffered a stroke over the weekend. "In bed with Mommy thinking about Clarence," Gaga tweeted on Monday. "I can't wait for you to see the beautiful video we made together. He's a really special person."

Clemons performed "Edge of Glory" with Gaga on "American Idol," where her stage looked like a cross between Stonehenge and the Aggro Crag on "Guts" — which could reveal some visual clues about the new video.

As for the concept, a leaked casting notice might shed some light on it. Late last month, a notice called for a "Puerto Rican or Dominican type badass" who "must be willing to kiss Lady Gaga ... Think Enrique Iglesias." The casting call was also seeking "Couture Doctors" who will wear smocks and black gloves, adding "think 'Dr. 90210.' " Other roles include a "male or female on-air reporter" and a group of military men to hold M16 rifles.

Gaga's creative director, Laurieann Gibson, simply teased to Rap-Up.com, "I just know that we'll be feeling very fishy." Fishy certainly was the theme of her performance on "Le Grand Journal," where she donned mermaid couture — perhaps a hint about what fans should expect in the video.

What are you expecting from the "Edge of Glory" video? Share your guesses in the comments!
